Dr. Jane Akhtar

I graduated in dentistry from The University of Wales in 1993 and after leaving university helped establish a private practice in the North West.

Now, with 30 years of experience, I am motivated to provide high quality dentistry with a gentle and caring approach and recently recieved my Master’s degree in endodontology (root fillings) from Chester University, passing with distinction. I have also completed 2 years of advanced training that specialises in care of the inside of the tooth, completed advanced training in aesthetics and function at The Pankey Institute in Florida and am trained to help people prevent and restore tooth wear, a major cause of tooth loss.

I also enjoy cosmetic dentistry and I’m a certified Invisalign® provider. Invisalign® can help to treat a variety of orthodontic concerns including teeth which are crooked, crowded or with gaps – but because it is clear, removable and comfortable, it won’t interfere with your life.

Outside work, I can be found in running shoes or at yoga class and I’m an extremely proud mother of two daughter’s.
